This fryer works great. The food comes out nice and crisp not oily. I wish it was a bit larger for larger items.Broke down in a few months with little use. It was fine, went o use it one evening, plugged it in and NOTHING. Had to run out and by a diffent brand as the clams were waiting.
1. Used it once. Cooked well but had to move thermostat at least 20° higher to do the job right.
2. Used a lot of oil,more than my old Delonghi fryer.
3. Very messy & the filter did not impress me.
Will go back the the seal lid,round type Delonghi.This is an excellent fryer. From the first frying until now it provides wonderfully fried foods for our family. Cleanup is rather easy. Anytime one deals with dirty oil – - well! The amount it fries at one time is great. I recommend it to anyone looking for a fryer in this price range – - – say what? – Buy this one. Amazon’s delivery was prompt and product was secure. I have to say, it is great. I bought it for my mom because she likes to have hot tea in winter. When she visited us, I bought it at Amazon. It arrived just 2 days after ordering. It works very well, now my whole family enjoy having it and now it becomes the most important electrical item that we use every day in our family. Strongly recommend to everyone!
